YAY! A few of you may have seen this new video already on the tour stops. But I am just now posting it online. I collaborated with Jason Smart to put together this demo reel of my work. I had SUCH a fun time deciding what work to put in and how I wanted to display it. I really love how it came out. Jason did an AMAZING JOB and he was KILLER to work with. I am very very happy and thankful. Enjoy.

ITS HERE!! The new 31Bits line “Haven”. Trever Hoehne did an amazing job on the photos! The shoot was so much fun and I LOOOVE all the pieces. I love that Summer Watkins put me in clothes that i would never pick out on my own. She’s talent. Stop over to Trever’s blog to see his post on this shoot. And then stop over to The 31Bits shop page to check out the new line. IT’S AMAZING!! I am so addicted to these beads right now. They make me feel like i am on vacation when i am wearing them. AND the best part is that its all for such a great cause. I heart what they’re about!!
They posted this on their blog today: Our 31 Bits Uganda headquarters is far beyond a workplace. Our ladies aren’t simply making jewelry, they’re entering a community. They can leave fear and uncertainties outside the gate, and enter a place of security, restoration, and hope. Our headquarters is a space to think creatively, dream big, find joy, build confidence, and be empowered. That’s why we call it “The Haven.”
Hope you Likey!!!
Hey Guys!! I have been wanting to share this process with you all for so very long. I was so excited when the girls with glasses contacted me with this idea. The video was so fun to shoot. and I really love those girls. This process is near and dear to my heart because I have repeated trial and error until I got a process that works well for me. It even includes a silly tooth brush, pan of water, and some patience.
I get quite a lot of comments asking how to do this…. And you all seem to have a really hard time with the results. I really hope that this video tutorial helps you understand how to do it. PLUS who doesn’t love The Girls With Glasses? So I hope it’s entertaining too. Check out how cute that little dog is. His name is Famous. And he’s a great model right?
Let me know your thoughts in the comment section. Have you tried this before? if you have and its worked… link the artwork into the comment section. We would love to see how it turned out.
