Hey nice ideas on jewelry making! I used to have a custom jewelry business a few years back and used all kinds of oddball parts like old watch parts which contain many cool looking parts. I also used car parts like black o-rings, springs and all.
The idea is to look around, go in a hardware store and see all things with a eye to create jewelry, its really fun. Even though I’m into other business I still enjoy creating them in my head as I walk through stores looking at parts.

Hey Promise,
Our oldest daughter, Tia, is a FIDM grad living in SF doing visuals for Banana Republic. She loves big whimsical jewelry and thrift store treasures. So, my daughters (11 & 7) and I decided to use your idea for a Christmas gift for Tia. We found the beads, shower curtain rings and a dress to cut up at Goodwill. Here is how it turned out! We love it? What do you think? ( I really like it with my second hand store Anne Klein finds).
