I just got Phil Wickham’s new record the other night and it is AMAZING! WOW! I had the privilege of designing his new merch COMPS (t-shirts and tote bags) for his new album called Heaven and Earth. This particular music scene calls for designs that are pretty basic, nothing to risky. Although I was asked to aim towards the ladies, some of the designs can be unisex, which is GREAT and more versatile… especially for touring/traveling.
During this design process I wanted to stay within the same color schemes/style as the album to create the feel of a whole brand package for the artist. These particular t-shirt designs will be easy to print and reasonably priced with only a few colors.
You can go get this new album at www.philwickham.com. You will not regret it. It is beautiful, artistic, and unique. These tees and totes are not at the printing press just yet. We have a few tweaks left to do and maybe some song titles. But keep your eyes out over the next few weeks, the finals should be comin out. The bottom 4 designs are some designs that I had to get out of my head in order to aesthetically get to the final designs. I thought you would enjoy seeing them as part of the process?!?!? But I love to hear your thoughts as always.

Sweet merch, Promise! It’s funny because I did a poster comp with the same upside-down heart for an “A” (blue tee) a while ago. All-around thumbs up!

As usual you never fail to impress. I love “arrowed” letters when they’re skewed and I’m definitely diggin’ the yellow shirt. The text is more subtle and seems to flow off of the flowers like the wake of a bee buzzing around the foliage.

Amazing work! They accompany the feel of the album very well! Also wanted to say that Amazon is selling his new album for $5! It’s an amazing record at any price, but you can’t beat $5!
