MARINA IS MY LONG TIME FRIEND

img_0122editblog

She has great hair. This girl has been my LONGEST friend. We grew up together. and we had a good time. This past weekend I stole her from southern Californa. She came over to Az to hang for a bit. It was amazing sifting through the old times, laughing at the stupid memories, and just enjoying each other. i am excited to have her in our wedding in just a few weeks. YIKES. its coming so quickly. Thanks for an amazing weekend lady. miss you terribly.

Emma Gay - HAHA! This is hilarious! “just hug anything”
and “sometimes it does hurt to try, but then the pain goes away after a few months of rehab”
My favorites. lol
she is a trip.

Perry Azevedo - That is hilarious!! I’m going to have to give Rosie crap about this video the next time I see her at church.

ashley bugg - hahahaha!!! Love it! I totally second emma’s favs, but I *love* that she said, “dance *UNTIL* no one’s watching”, when the actual phrase is “dance *LIKE* no one’s watching”…hahahhahahahaha!!!

si - definitely option 3!

Jennifer - 1 or 3.

Lisa Weddle - #4 with out a doubt!!!

Annalise - I vote 1.
LOVE the grey shirt and white tie together.
:)

promisetangeman - uh oh!! still need more help. They are all tied.

Brianna - number 3, love it

ryan guard - FOUR!!!

Lisa Weddle - can I vote twice? FOUR!!!!!!

promisetangeman - hahahha. thanks lisa. i think you like 4?

Lindsey - I vote option 1!

Lisa Weddle - :) I feel very passionately about this.

whitney law - four.

katie kissee - I love #1!!!

Kara Taylor - Option 1

Jessy - 1 or 3

Heather - #1=<3

Amanda - i like them all.
but i feel like four is SO you and bri.
four. :)

Amy - ok, Chip and I like 3 or 4 the best. don’t forget to count 2 votes for that!! hehe

Amy - ps where are the clothes from??? I LOVE THEM!

amaris - numba TWO! (apparently I’m the only one hahaha)

Jessica - 4 is my favorite..then I would say either 2 or 3.

But I love how different and fun #4 is!!! ;)

Hope that helps…

Bryce Driesenga - My first vote would go to option 2! Otherwise, option 3. Either way, they must wear those sweet plaid pants.

michelle cunningham - phew! scrolling down the replies i started thinking i was uncool or something coz i only liked 2.

Juliet Towner - 4!

Lori - Option 1 …nice!

Candice - #2 !!!!!!!!! :)

mitch bolton - option 1, but it is kinda tame for you both.

JV - If I could vote twice it’s 1&3. But if I HAD to pick one, then I say option 3! It has a touch of personality amidst the classic black & white ;)

ashley - i LOVE number ONE!!!

Meredith - 4! Definitely. I’m not likin’ the plaid-ish pants thing the first three had going on.

Emma Gay - Ok Number 2 is sexy. Seriously, go with that. HOT.

ashley bugg - dude. where are all the votes for two? Jon and I (that’s right — TWO votes) vote for TWO!!

mandythompson - Definitely ONE.
DEFINITELY.

Jenn Becker - TWO, TWO, TWO!!! ( I really like them all, but two is my fave) =)

Vicki - I love the plaid pants but my vote has to be for FOUR!!!!

Joe - number 3!

Kylie - They are all good but number 1 looks awesome. Go with one. ” )

Jessica B - #1 is Radtastic.

maia - I say 2.. but PLEASE show us YOUR dress!! :)
and i’m curious (after seeing the last post about him) what the groom will be wearing.. hehe

Chip Neal - I like 2 or 4! I think 2 is really timeless and still very cool!

wren - #2 looks sooo dapper. very hot.

brie - I would have to say option 2!!! That is a sweet look!
brie

shammy (: - two or four.
i’m diggin the red-orangeish pants (:

april - 4!!

Jeremiah - I’m wondering if the girls above who are voting on the mens attire have an induced agenda as to why they would pick option 4. Without loss of generality lets assume the girls aforementioned have good intentions which would exonerate their vote from what I might suspect may be ulterior motives. However, I surmise some may hope that their counterparts create a risible scene at the wedding with an unorthodox look so that the contrapositive to the male shines even brighter. The contrapositive being the females… but I digress.

Choice 3 has my vote!

Bonnie - Missy…when do the females get theirs ;)

Grant - 1 sucks. 3 or 4

Scott - Option 1 is slick…

Rachel Allen - I’d have to say either 1 or 4. Love the contrast and color combo with #1 but I also like the black on black offset by the bright pants. Can’t go wrong with any of them. I’m pretty sure all eyes will be on the beautiful bride anyway. ;)

Chris Metzger - 2 or 4!

leah - one, one, one! although the red pants i quite like! =)

ashley bugg - that’s *right*. look at all those votes for TWO come pouring in. keep ‘em coming! TWO TWO TWO! :) :) :)

really, they are all nice, but I’m a BIG fan of TWO…in case you didn’t catch taht already.

two.

veronica - number one, for sure :)

Seth - I like 3!!

lovie - Hum…..has Brian voted yet?…..:)….I think…1, 3, or 2. How is that for a decision.

natali - definitely 3 or 4 – the black on black with white tie is nice

Matt Bunk - #1

marina - uno.

it’s slick.

shelly - i love the orange/red pants

Shawn Tyler Gray (STG) - If its not too late, I’d like to throw another vote to #2. GO #2!!!
HaHa…that just sounded weird.

Sarah Niemann - #1 – dig it for real.

Ryan - Option 3.

Keegan - 2 or 3. Plaid wins. Orange + Black = Halloween.

Tiffany Keller - 1 is a little boring, but the classics sometimes are.
I do not like 2.

3 is good!
4 is very different AND good!

I think it would depend a little on what your dress looks like and will all the guys be wearing this or just your guy?

Jenn Perryman - Option 4 reminds me of a certain NCA president we all know….

I like option 2!

Someone Like You... - def. 4!
incredibly handsome, good taste, my dear.

April - Option #4. Love the color.

kristi - Two for sure.
Three is second place vote for me. – Though the black just blends away and reveals no real details b/t vest/shirt – may be nightmare for your photographer.

A.Rahim - I vote Option 1

lee - Number 1. Hot! Even better if skinny white leather tie.

Brittany H - Where is the collection from above? Are all the pieces from different stores etc? I love all of them that you have put together. Please let me know!

Angela - I love number 4 — I loved them all until I saw the last!

Emogene Feoli - I like the layout of your blog and I’m going to do the same thing for mine. Do you have any tips? Please PM ME on yahoo @ AmandaLovesYou702

themisfit - number 2 for sure.

winston - hey where do you get your plaid pants any specific name to that design? looks really cool C:

Jake Glover - Where did you get all the pieces to number 1? I’m getting married soon and am looking into that set up.

jose - option 1 :)
or 4 :D

Drew Tufano - What are you trying to say Promise!? ;) That’s one studly outfit!

Joe - I have that jacket!!!

fiance - WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY BY THIS POST P.T.? i like my giddy up!

Chip Neal - That Jacket is the bizzzzomb and the glasses are just……..well there just awesome!

Rog of EP - Lyndzee and I are so jealous that we don’t get to photograph your wedding. You and Brian seem to be endlessly beautiful, talented and just flat out bad to the bone (or good to the bone, if you like). It’d be great to catch up with Brian sometime soon. Let us know when you’ll be in CA and we’ll grab a bite. Oh yeah, and we’ll bring our cameras.

HOW TO FEEL MISERABLE AS AN ARTIST: haha haha

1. Constantly compare yourself to other artists.
2. Talk to your family about what you do and expect them to cheer you on.
3. Base your success of your entire career on one project.
4. Stick with what you know.
5. Undervalue your expertise.
6. Let money dictate what you do.
7. Bow to societal pressures.
8. Only do work that your family would love.
9. Do whatever the client/customer/gallery owner/patron/investor asks.
10. Set unachievable overwhelming goals to be accomplished by tomorrow.

haha. I have heard this list was written by www.kerismith.com?!?! I am SOO GUILTY OF 1,3,5, and 10. hah which ones are you?

Alex - i would say i am very guilty of 1, 2 (this one is extremely hard for me), 7, and 10.

Alex - and a little encouragement for you…even though you are falling into mind-traps. you are doing something right because your work is aMAZing! ;)

Jennifer - lets see, 1, 2, 3, 5, 10.

haha this made my day. lol

jarrod - 1.2.5.9.10

Good to see I’m not alone.

very good list:)

Joe - AMEN! Thanks for the lid raising.

ryan guard - I won two coloring contests in elementary school. It all boiled down to shading. You’ve gotta shade.

Chris Schroeder - ryan made a good point..haha

great list…I think I’ve been guilty of all those reasons one time or another. 1 is the top of the list.

michelle cunningham - 1 thru 7? dang that’s horrid.

shelly - yep yep yep….i might need to post this list on my wall.

Perry Azevedo - Very good post. I am so guilty of half that list.

ashley bugg - 1 2 3 5 10…indeed. and sometimes I let 4 sneak up on me, but I quickly push her back down. She feels safe you know..

honza - Oh, so that’s the reason why I’m miserable :D ha ha

Chris Metzger - 1, 5, 6, 7
Extremely
all of those

William Price - 1,3,5,6,7,9,10

AHHHHH!

promisetangeman - HAHAHAHAA.

Kenzie - all of these. haha

Dan - totally 1, 4,5, and 9 :/
sad day.

Joe Federer Photography - Oh man – a heaping helping of 1, 2, 7, and 10 … with a dash of 5 & 6. A good wakeup call, actually.

Danny - 1, 5, 6, 9. At least. If not all!!

Lisa - 1 and especially 2! Why do I always think they will be excited for me? I think when you really LOVE what you do- it doesn’t take many people to encourage you. Although many would be great!

Hope - wasn’t this originally written by keri smith?
http://www.kerismith.com/blog/archives/000360.html

promisetangeman - haha. I dont know. I think that list has been around for a while now!! I couldnt tell ya who wrote it. i for sure didnt.

Hope - thanks for your response. no disrespect meant! i just love Keri Smith’s work – she is very generous with it – I immediately recognized it! best wishes to you….

SARAH RHOADS CAN TAKE A PICTURE

sarahrhoadsphotographers_pt-5000blog

I am home in Washington visiting my family for the week. I got the chance to hang with my girl Sarah Rhoads the other day in Seattle. We did a lunch date and a few promo photos. It was so fun to see her work, meet her husband, and get a chance to relax in the creativity instead of always having to be the one to come up with it. How rereshing. Sarah is a doll and she takes a dang good photo. MORE COMING LATER.

Perry Azevedo - Sarah does take a good photo. Too bad it’s so cold up here right now. Usually, it’s starting to get nicer in Washington, this time of year.
