FLYING FEATHERS AND PAPER CRAFTS

img_9026editblog

So.. This afternoon feathers were flying, paper was cutting, turned into craft assembly line for our wedding invitations. haha. When I was designing them and invisioning them I made each one a little more special than it deserved. Meaning each one TAKES WAYYY TO LONG TO MAKE. hahha. But it was fun to have dear friends amy and carrie there to help me out. The look of the final package of the invitation looks a little different then the previous posts, but I think it works better. The right solution for the address label took a while. I will be hard at it again tomorrow. Fun fun. This is the fun part of wedding planning.

DALEY HAKE & CHRIS TOMLIN

YAY!!! I am soo honored….. Daley Hake asked me to come out with him and shoot the show tonight in Glendale AZ for Chris Tomlin. He is on tour with tomilin and the gang.  I am so honored and stoked that Daley invited me out to help out with tonight. WEDDING INVITES ARE IN

img_6985editblog

I so soo stoked to see a huge box of wedding invitations waiting for me on the front porch the other day. I am like a little kid at christmas when printed design stuff arrives on the scene. I just want to touch it, smell it, check out the colors, sizing, and spacing. Theres just something magical about seeing the stuff you design in real life. I actually made it… and its looks legit. haha. I am surprised every time. I hope you enjoy these. likey??

GOOD MORNING & thoughts about design

I am off to a slow start this morning on the work side of things… i had coffee and talked my room mate Amy for over an hour, we watched videos online and talked about everthing from wedding showers, to working out, to adoption. hahaha. kind of a mixed morning. Some really great conversation. I love mornings like that.

Matt Troutman - I vote 3! I think it would be cool to see your followers and their professions.

jadie - yeah i think 3 would be awesome!

promisetangeman - oo thanks guys.. I think that could be really fun as well.

kayla - i like the idea of number 3.

i was looking through your links, and i ended up finding this girl! jess gonacha! you should check her stuff out.

ashley bugg - I’m a #3 voter too…the other ones sound fun, but 3 is my fav.

Joe Cavazos - I vote for 3

amaris - oh sheesh, i like them all. maybe start with #3 and see how it rolls. perhaps sprinkle a little of #1 & #2 in there sometimes too! ?? haha

Lori - #3 would be cool… but I’m also intrigued by #2. It would be less work for you and maybe you’d get more participation.

promisetangeman - oo. good point Lori. I WOULD like a little participation… if ya know what i mean.

april - #3 sounds awesome… i love to see other designers techniques… especially freelancers.. and including the personal stuff just adds a cherry to it!

promisetangeman - okay it looks like i will try 3. wooohoo. still open for input though
