A WORD FROM THE VERY EXPERIENCED SAVERS SHOPPER
1. Only buy what you LOVE
2. Always talk shop with the old ladies in there, they love it
3. Look twice, you probably missed it the first time
4. Dont put your fingers in your mouth, eyes, or nose when you are in there.
5. Only look in a certain section at a time, pretty overwhelming
6. Know what you are looking for before you go in
7. Wash your hands and your clothes that you bought.
8. Look at things out of context
9. Always look for the half off colored tags.
10.Umm.. wash your hands? dont sit on the toilet seats

THE BEST SAVERS DAY EVER

OKAY. HOW cool is this stuff. What???? Savers is the best. I want to work there. This stuff is so rad. There is NOTHING I enjoy better than finding gems FOR SUCH A GOOD DEAL. WHAT! WHAT!. I took Brian to the airport the other day and on the way back SAVERS was calling my name. I am going to make more frequent stops there because I have the wedding as an excuse. I need to find decor and such.. you know. hahaa. Anyway, I told myself I was only going to look in the glass jar section. and OOPS. I guess the “glass jar” section was the whole store yesterday. Well it was SUCH a good day. I was on cloud nine with excitement. Especially the chairs and the trunks for only $2.50 EACH. That is insane. I hope i dont turn into that old lady that collects tons of junk. You know her? It was senior day, So there were tons of old people. There was a lady in the checkout line that asked me where I got those dome things…. She said I should put dolls under them. “There great for dolls”, she says. HAHAHA!!

I go to all different Savers//Value Village shops in AZ. I think the valley might be a hot spot.

LEAH - oh my gosh. if i went to someones house and the had dolls in those dome things i would do a 360 and hightail it out of that place. that is so scary/ like nightmare worthy. oh boy i love old ladies. theyre so adorable.

ALRIGHT LET ME EXPLAIN ALL OF THIS. I just got done designing our wedding invitations. They are a little different than the normal wedding invitations. Of course right? haaha. O well. CAN WE GET A SPELL CHECKER IN THE HOUSE?? can anyone help?? i am horrible at spelling and grammar and i am getting worse. So help out here if that is your strength. i would greatly appreciate it.

The invitation is going to be a long cardstock invitation front and back. The image on the front will show in the front of the envelope. That is why the front is so plain. CLEAR ENVELOPE BAGS CAN BE MAILED. woohoo. So the front will have twine, feathers, a stamp, and an address of course. When you turn the clear envelope over you will see a collection of the other printed pieces showing though. FUN.
Does that make sense? Below I displayed an example of what the clear bag will look like with items in it. Except it will be larger. The items shown are not the real thing.. I just took our save the date and other materials to show as an example. What do you think?? Any changes? I love your feedback.. as always.

Jennifer - i think its looks great! awesome idea with the clear bags! i didn’t notice any spelling errors, but i’m not the best myself either. :)

Hannah Azevedo - Hi Promise – your invitations are absolutely beautiful. Perry and I married last April and there are SO MANY DETAILS – looks like you’re hanging in there well. The only three (think small) things I noticed are these:

1. Macys is Macy’s. (could be left for design reasons)
2. Accomodations should be Accommodations and you have “5//8/09″ I think you meant “5/8/09″?

Other than that, you’re golden!

Hannah Azevedo - Oh, and lite dinner should be light dinner, unless stylistically you’re going for the slang term.
