Hah! Promise. I love you. You’re so funny. I quite like that deer, come to BC and you can see quite a few. Well… I’m going to Mars Hill this morning because we’re in Seattle, down from Vancouver, and I’m pretty excited. I love that church.

I like Christmas for the best excuse to watch silly films, eat chocolate for breakfast and watch this video over and over and over

Love that it’s been nice and cool here in Phoenix. Almost feels like winter.

I’m just making a christmas card and was thinking of using a photo with deers. I used just trees in the end, but trees I photographed in the North, where those deers I considered using live (and were photographed).

I love this website. It’s great for cute/funny graphic tees for cheap (almost all under 15 bucks)! They update it daily so there are new tees every day. so great!

Christmas menu needs pink-peppermint ice cream with hot fudge sauce…and the deer looks like the mule deer we saw @the Grand Canyon this summer

haha Am I the only guy who reads this blog? Or just the only guy who likes conversation more than just about anything else in the history of the world (that’s an exaggeration, in case it doesn’t come across in print).
Something nice: the “between Thanksgiving and Christmas” time of year is most amazing because everyone’s so cheerful… and stressed. And I love both (even if perhaps I shouldn’t love the stressed part). :>)

bondChristian, No worries brother you’re not the only guy that reads this blog
This photo makes me think of my grandparents and family farm in North Dakota. Big Dinners, Homemade pickles, Norwegian Lefse, and what life used to be like before Starbucks and Target. Aside from the cold winter, its a beautiful place to visit and makes for some killer landscape photography.
Besides that, it makes me think of my love for Antlers and my friends film “My Deer Friend.” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qaq19rX5zuE

I caught myself whining this morning about designing…I can be so ungrateful sometimes. When I take a step back and take a breath I am very grateful to be a working freelance graphic designer.
When I take a bigger step back I realize how incredibly blessed I am to be a creative individual. Sometimes I forget how cool it is to just CREATE, not to just create to get PAID, but to create because it is truly a spiritual, fulfilling experience for me.

This picture reminds me of home. I am from Wisconsin but have relocated to Florida (much different). Thanks for posting it! I am very inspired by your work!
Happy Christmas!

this is a tough Christmas for me. my fiance is in Afghanistan. but i am so tremendously grateful for all of the support i have been getting from friends, family, strangers in the woodwork. it is truly inspiring to witness random acts of kindness, and to pass that on to others. i am truly blessed.
