So I am one of those girls that can tend to ask a lot of questions. haha. I even ask questions in the movies, when no one else has seen the movie either. hahha. Well… Im curious, OKAY?!?! You can’t learn much if you don’t ask questions. haha. So… That being said, I got to thinking, How old are you? And how do you spend your day?

Sarah - Hello! I started reading your blog a few weeks ago, so I thought I’d answer your questions. I’m 26. I spend most days working as a web designer (which is where I am right now
When I’m not at work I’m hanging out with my dog, doing circus tricks or baking.
Jenni - I’m 26, but everyone thinks I’m younger (they usually guess around 18 or 19).
I spend my day working, creating, learning, traveling/exploring, spending time with family and friends. On a “bad” day (or when I don’t feel like I’ve gotten anything accomplished) is when I don’t do any of these things, which is sad (except for the “work” part…haha)!
promisetangeman - Sarah!! what to the what what?!?! circus tricks? with your dog? or yourself?
Do explain.
Thanks for saying hey.
Raechelle - I’m 24 and in law school…so I spend my days reading, reading, reading and going to class! But in my very precious spare time I like to bake, read for fun (yes more reading!) and try new restaurants with my wonderful boyfriend

Jenni - I’m 24… soon to be 25! I spend my days at work, miserable, in a job I hate, stressed out to no end. It’s a horrible way to be spending my days, especially at this age! And the fact that I got a degree and paid lots and lots of money to get it just to find a job that I dislike so much it keeps me from sleeping some nights – well, it sucks.
I’m young, fun, cute and just all around rad – I deserve more!
What about you?

I’m 20 years old, and spend most of my days studying and at school. When there’s some time for myself, I love to draw and read Dwell (among 8457932457 other magazines…) They’re so addicting, even just the feel and look of them. I’m also an Esthetician and make-up artist (which is what I did before going back to school for the second time) so, some days, I do makeup for a photoshoot, or wax people Ha ha…fun times. I am also a former Canadian reality TV ‘star’ and the show has recently been reairing on tv, so, lately I’ve spent a few minutes of my day watching myself of TV and thinking about how weird that is. Then I give my head a good shake, have a good laugh, and get back to homework…or reading blogs and books…or working on a random ‘artsy’ project. I’ve been reading your blog for about a month now (so happy I stumbled upon it), and I’m glad I finally got the chance to introduce myself. So, hi Promise, it’s so nice to meet you!

I am also Marketing Director for Southwest Shakespeare Company and do my best to get butts in the seats. I also love to read and am currently training for a 1/2 marathon.
Erin Fitz - I’m 24… mid-twenties, ahhh! I guess I always thought about mid-twenties having amazing careers and already starting families. But I graduated college right when the whole economy thing happened. So much for plans, huh? I just moved to Denver and am starting up in a graduate program for International Development with a focus on human rights. I eventually want to work with sex trafficking victims and become a modern-day abolitionist. But for now, I spend my days behind the bar making latte’s at Starbucks. And I shoot with my Cannon Rebel. And my Diana. And my vintage polariods. I’ve always thought about starting a photography business, but for now, I like to keep it as a hobby and “shoot” people just for fun. I read Jane Austen. A lot. I love to be outside. I love to cook and bake. And I love to stalk blogs, especially ones as cool as yours. ; )

jessy - Dearest Promise,
This easter I turned 20. In some ways I really don’t think I should have turned 20 but in others I guess I feel like it’s just the beginning of a part of life.
I spend most of my days running around. I attend a university in Southern Utah and am officially declared as an art major and biology major. It’s the strangest mixture, but I love both areas for unique reasons. The biology was intend to help me get into Med school, but these I’m not so sure anymore, I love being an artist more than anything.
My days vary depending on the classes, I work as a photo journalist at the schools paper which keeps me on my toes and If I’m not working or doing h.w., I’m volunteering at the local hospital in the E.R., or designing random posters, taking photos, or reading books like Sherlock Holmes and drinking tea. I’m a bit quirky to say the least, but as a result my life is full of adventure. :]
Laura - I’m 23 and I have spent this past winter working at a coffee shop during the week, and doing photography sessions and running my business on the weekends. This summer I will be doing photography full-time just like I did last summer and I CAN’T WAIT!!
Marillyn - I’m 26. When I am working I work for the DPS. When I get time to myself I like to journal, create art, go to thrift store for the joy of the hunt, go to the movies or spend time with my hubby and friends.
Enjoy life, Celebrate it.
(p.s I am the same why, I am always curious but sometimes too scared to ask)
Courtney Joy - Promise,
You’re so cute. I’m 22. And I work full time as a graphic designer for a ministry and am also a freelance designer. My hobbies are working out and staying healthy, blogging about design and branding, and playing the flute. I play for the Metropolitan Wind Ensemble in Dallas, TX. =)
Laurajane - I’m 20 and I spend most of my day being bored. I think about creating things, and then I forget or get sidetracked with a blog, kinda like this one. haha. Or I spend most of my day building my photography business. Not much time shooting because my main subjects are in school all day. Or I overtake the kitchen table with buttons and feathers to make headbands that I sell at a local store.
Oh and I’m so glad that there is someone else out there who asks just as many questions as I do, even durning movies that no one else has seen. I get yelled at a lot for that one. haha
emily - I’m 20! I spend my day breathing, laughing, praying, talking, listening.
On most days I go to uni as a Media student, work at a call centre, visit my bro at the hospital, and spend spare time with friends, reading or working on personal creative projects.
How do YOU spend your day?!?
Brandi - I’m Brandi, 25, and spend my days doing full time student ministry at an awesome church.
Love your blog!

Veronica Lane - I am 31… older than most that follow your blog!
I spend my days with my 8 year old daughter… working at my kick-ass job as a world traveler and trying to plan my official European breakaway in August. I am a part time photographer (just too busy to make it a full time deal until I move to London!)

kendra - eeerrm hi. i just started reading your blog through RVA.

you are A-DOR-ABLE.
Kelly Beane - Promise, I love this post!
I am 25. I am a wife, mother & a photographer. So my days consist of dressing, bathing, feeding, entertaining, and loving on two children… web surfing, blog stalking, emailing, editing, shooting, creating… time with my hubs, and he is great at doing the laundry and cooking… thank goodness! There’s never a dull moment in our home
Becky - Promise,
I am a little late in the game but here goes. I am 34, and am a wife, student, and work as a full-time as a lead for a fortune 200 supplemental insurance company, and what I aspire to do the most….a portrait and wedding photographer….though very new to the industry. Here is where the crazy begins…. A day in my life begins at 4:30 AM, then off to work at 6 AM, work until my morning classes, back to work until my 8 hours are up, then a work out, homework, being a wife, and sleep sometime in between.
The chaotic life will hopefully slow down in December when I earn my BA in sociology. Woot! I found your blog through Melissa Jill who I follow regularly. Yes, it is a crazy life, but it works for me right now.
Emma Hertel - I am 13!
and I just woke up… but, yesterday i saw my grandma and went to an organic store and had sushi for dinner! :9
m o r g a n - hey promise!
& looking through your incredible etsy store too of course!
I’m 17 years old. I spend my days in school, then at practice for whatever sports season it is… then after that i do my homework and eat dinner! boring. Which is why i stay up until 3 most nights! haha i dont sleep… nighttime for whatever reason is when i get all of my work done! I love going to thrift stores and cutting up things to make new things… listening to new music, pretending I can play my guitar, ride my mountain bike which i pretend is antique, dress up and pretend i am in paris… the usual. ha
Kelly - I am 17 years of age and a senior in high school. Soon to be 18 on July 6
My days are spent at school in the sun with friends and my afternoons are spent dancing or running around outside and doing different things for school. I’m always on the phone..
Yana - I am twenty years old. Typically spend my days nannying, working on my Graphic Design & Digital Media degrees, hanging out with my amazing friends, being a part of the best youth/college group ever, promoting Passion Conferences just because I love what they do (www.268generation.com
), randomly buying and reinventing things, interning at my university newspaper, la, la, la.
Your blog is a huge inspiration to me. People always ask me what I’m going to do with graphic design, saying it like its the most useless degree out there (not.). I always think of what you’re doing and how you’re successful and making a difference in the world with your art. Thank you.
meg - Im 15
Spend my day at school unfortunately and evenings reading great blogs like this.
Laura - I have a 15 month old toddler and a one month old baby, so I spend a lot of time taking pictures of my little ones. I’m 33 years old, and stay at home as of this year (I taught elementary school kids before). I play outside with the kids, do home projects to beautify my surroundings, and visit parks, zoos, splash pads, etc. In my spare time I search the web for inspiring ideas in decorating and health. In the evenings I eat dinner with my husband and kids. After dinner we goof around indoors and out. Later we all watch Wow Wow Wuzby and The Up Down Side Show in bed.
Jessica B. - Hey Promise! I’m 18 and I am currently going to school for photography. I am also working on the design of my new website. You truly inspire me,
Jess

you know… just living simply, slow pace and beautifully.
Orchid Grey - Ah, every time I see your hair I want to be BLONDER! it’s seriously beautiful! anyways, on to the question at hand: I’m 26 but I don’t feel it. I spend my days working, blogging, exercising, sewing, taking pictures, snuggling with my two cats, hanging out with my boyfriend, riding my bike, swimming, and avoiding responsibility.
Awkward - i’m 27 and i spend most of my day at work helping college students with disabilities. in my spare time i love to cook. when i had more time i also loved taking pictures of anything, everything, and anyone. if i could be anyone i wanted, i would be a million things such as party planner, caterer, pastry chef, photographer, florist, seamstress, and anything creative.

I’m 26, hrm, almost 27 in a month. I found your blog way back thru your wedding photographer I think. I have a day job as a software engineer (in a big super-corporate company). I also play the piano for my church, and enjoy cooking, calligraphy, and riding my bicycle to the farmer’s market on weekends. In my ideal world, I’d be a florist or calligrapher, or a pilates instructor? I also love interior design / DIY home decor. Ok I’ll stop now. Love your blog too. Spend some of my day reading it and other inspirational sites.

I am an aspiring photographer (key word being aspiring. I have yet to get photoshop so I’ve still got a ways to go! But I’m coming along) so I spend most of my days either taking pictures or editing them. On top of that my mother and I have an etsy shop so I spend lots of time making jewelry, headbands and painting furniture!
