NEW AND COOL!!!! CHECK IT OUT

First off… the WINNER of the give-away last week goes to: BRIAN LARSON!! YAY! Congrats, Brian.

On another note, I am so lucky to have the RADDEST sponsors. I am seriously blown away every month with such amazing talent. I really love to support other creative businesses and new endeavors. There is something so special and magical about creative people coming together to collaborate, chat, dream, and to be inspired. There are many things to learn from other artists. I am deeply thankful for the people that also enjoy sponsoring my blog each month. Plus, I LOVE sharing new resources and COOL things with you guys. I hope you enjoy learning about these talented folks. If you are interested in having a feature spot email info(at)promisetangeman.com for more information and to see if you/your company are a good fit. Without any other interruptions I would like to introduce this months sponsors. hehe.

1. SALT&PREP. Salt&prep is a seriously fabulous new website that features fashion, beauty tips, and funky images as inspiration for high school seniors and other young creatives. This website is a fresh new look at what fashion and blogging could/will become. It’s a breath of fresh air when it comes to inspiration and ideas. Salt&prep is currently accepting submissions from talented people in the following categories: How to Rock, Outfit Inspiration, Designer Spotlight, and Real Seniors. Check out their website and be a part of an inspiring new creative community.

2. LEMON AND RASPBERRY. First off this is the best tasting blog I have ever seen. Haha. My mouth seriously waters just thinking about the name. It’s so fresh and scrumptious. Amy from lemon and raspberry is a scrapbooker of 15 years, and photographer for just as long. She is a wedding photographer, traveler, reader, and a singer. Her blog is written and created to be an inspiration for photographers and creatives. She has a post called “link round up” where she finds ALL THE COOL DIY projects around and loads them all up for you to find easily. She also featured inspirational quotes and tips for being in the creative industry. Her blog definitely has some must see posts.

3. CARLOS WHITTAKER You may recognize Carlos from this funny youtube video of his son singing to Beyonce’s “All the single Ladies”. Well, Carlos Whittaker just released his first ever full length project a couple of weeks ago and I’m just stoked for him. I know how hard it is to put a record together and I know this is a big season for him. Above is his EPK (electronic press kit) where he shares the story fo the album and the creative process behind it. I think you’ll enjoy the video and the album. You should know that you’re supporting a guy that loves God, loves his family, loves his friends, sacrifices a lot and cares for the least. Click the album cover above to go order his new record and to help a brother out!!

4. FORMULA ONE ACTIONS. You have seen me post about this before… but I just seriously cannot get enough. These actions are the real deal. 5. JENNIFER PAIGE DESIGNS. Hair accessories for the posh prepster. Jennifer has some hot new little hair designs that are taking over the accessory world. With a spot on Martha Stewart’s site She is really becoming the oh so posh prepster. She defines the Posh Prepster as the ultimate fashionista embracing design, style and glamour. The posh prepster has a sense of adventure, listens to punk rock music, LOVES ballet, and has character, depth, and a carefree spirit to laugh until her side hurts. Jennifer’s hair designs are JUST THAT!! They are spunky, punky, colorful, and oh so fun. Jennifer draws inspiration from everywhere — be it Home Depot, Architectural Magazines, the grocery store or W magazine and Women’s Wear Daily. She sees the world as one big Canvas — and an ever changing art project that needs just a bit more paint splatter. Check out Jennifer Paige Designs for some hair accessory fun.

6. 503 PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS. This is SUCH a brilliant idea. Jessica from 503 workshops has done it right and she is so passionate about what she does. It makes me so excited about my future just reading her write ups. haha. 503 workshops are photography workshops for kids and teenagers. WHAT A BRILLIANT CONCEPT!! I would have LOVED to have been apart of this as a teen. Check out what she has to say about her online classes:

“What if as adults every chance we got helped create a world where our children could feel safe to take risks? A safe place to fail. A safe place to succeed. Did you know that more people fear success than they do failure? It’s true. And, this is why I am so passionate about these workshops. My name is Jessica Cudzilo and I am the creator and owner of 503 Workshops for kids. It started with workshops for adults and what I found was astonishing. Again and again and again adults like you and like me were discovering the artist within and were finding freedom. They were finding a bit of themselves that they might not have ever known existed had it not been for a simple photography workshop. I created this idea because it was something I didn’t have myself as a child. There is an epidemic in our school systems. Low budgets are cutting out art education. This is detrimental to our children’s development. If art can help nurture these in children then we would all be foolish not to go out of our ways to provide opportunities for our children to create. Freely. To dream. To focus. To solve problems. To Imagine. To feel heard. To take risks.”

UMM…. RAD?!?! Check out her website for more info.

7. MEGANS CREATIONS. Megan is a sweet sweetie pie with some yummy creations via her Etsy shop Megan’s Creations. She has a colorful retro style featuring whimsical mustaches on a stick, handmade soaps, headbands, jewelry, pin cushions, and more fun stuff. Megan also participated my The art that helps collaboration project. You can read about that here. Check it out.
