Happy Valentines day everyone. I don’t imagine anyone will be reading this today, because I bet you are all off being sweet to your honey. haha. And that is the way it should be of course. Maybe you can read this 5 things i love tomorrow then.
Today i am not with my honey. It makes me a little sad that we are separated on our first valentines day since we have been married. But i know there will be plenty of other heart days to celebrate together. We have a little date scheduled when I get back… and of course we sent each other little presents.
I am actually in the Seattle area SURPRISING my mom for her valentines birthday. Yes… she was born on valentines day. Isn’t that sweet?!? My sister and I are so happy and excited to be here to be with her this special weekend. We have spent the last few days SHOPPING TILL WE DROP, having late morning chats over coffee, and enjoying being together. I seriously miss the Northwest and my family. Brian was so happy that I got an opportunity like this to surprise my mom and get some good quality family time, just like the old days.

Here is another 5 things I love post. I have really grown to like these… haha. and not only becauase I get to share 5 things I love with you but because I get to see links, lists, and posts of things that you like. It seems like in every season of my life I go on a kick for something and its very fun to share it and see/hear about others. I guess it’s kind of whats going on in life in the in between times… and sometimes those things go unaddressed… even if they are silly and fun things. This is a long one so watch out!!!
1. ANYTHING PLAID This is a plaid season for sure. Last year only the Indie kids were wearing plaid and now grandpa, your mom and your baby are all wearing plaid. I love it. Patterns, fabric and color get me oh so excited. BRING it on for the winter season. Nice and cozy warm.
This is a post is for Elsie. Every sunday she posts 10 things she loves. WHAT?? how does she love so many things? haha. Every sunday I am surprised and amazed that she is still coming up with stuff that she loves. So i thought I would give it a try. Here are 5 things that I love.
1. I love this RAD ruffle necklace and this outfit from Karlascloset.com I am positive that it would be able to “dress up” even an old ugly t-shirt. I actually think that would ROCK!
2. Ketepa Kenya Tea. It was winter while i was in Kenya, so we drank lots of this Kenyan tea. The kenyans made the most wonderful tasting tea. ahhh…I miss it.
