About a week or so before our wedding Brian and I and the main guys on the worship arts team drove over to Southern California for Catalyst West!! what what! Brian was asked to host the catalystgreenroom.com where he would be doing on the spot interviews and backstage photos in the greenroom with the key speakers and music artists. I was originally just going to the conference.. just to go.. but a few days before I was hired to take some photos of the “before party” hosted by the one and only Carlos Whitaker. It was an amazing night. There was a BBQ, snowcones, graffiti artists, and Toms Shoes was there doing art on shoes. It was awesome. I wanted to jump right in and start painting with them. hahaha. hire me hire me haha. jk.

Also the founder of Toms shoes made and appearance. He spoke a little bit about what the ministry is doing through selling shoes. WOW! some crazy stuff. If you live in a hole and you have never heard of Toms shoes you need to check it out. TOMS Shoes was founded on a simple premise: For every pair you purchase, TOMS will give a pair of shoes to a child in need. One for One. Using the purchasing power of individuals to benefit the greater good is what we’re all about.

It was a really fun day.. filled with alot of different types of people. it was crazy actually connecting with people that i know online. I met a lot of poeple that follow my blog and i follow theres etc. The internet is SOOO weird. haha. But it’s soo awesome too. Because we were all strangers… but NOT because we all knew each other. haha. This shoot was differnt than the normal types of shoots that I do. I feel that I am best at portraiture and in situtations that i can tweak and change and control. haha. But photographing events is a totally different game. I think i did okay. any thoughts? suggestions? advice? comments?

Hey guys!! I am back from our wedding and honeymoon. It was the best couple weeks ever!! in my entire life. WOW. I am so thankful to our family and friends. But more on that later. I have photos coming from our wedding and honeymoon AND more design projects and photoshoots on the way. Dont worry.. I did NOT doing anything on my honeymoon except enjoy my new husband by the beach!! WOOHOO!!
Here is a little silly painting that I never showed anybody. I made it for brian, my husband… when we first met (about 2 years ago). We had a day where we walked around cold seattle listening to music on the same ipod with BOTH of our shoes un-tied. haha. oops. It just kept happening. This painting is a little 8x10in. Perfect for a little kitchen wall art. It is done in acrylic paint.. with little circles, texture, and city scape outlines in the background. i think it resembles us some. do you? haha. you likey?

This is a really fun update on an awesome project that i get to be apart of. I have been working on branding John Debney, the composer for many great movies such as Passion of the Christ, Sin City, Elf, Liar Liar and now the new Disney movie Hannah Montana. the images above are just a sneak peak of what i have going on. They hired me to design them a new logo, stationary (letter head, envelopes, business cards) note papers, cd cover designs and a few other things. I present the designs to him in Burbank California on the 20th of this month. I fly there and back the same day. It should be a great day. John, his lovely wife Lola, and their assistant Stephanie are AMAZING people. They have such deep caring hearts that go way beyond Hollywood and the scene that comes with that. I am excited to get their branding to a place that represents him and his work really well, as it should.

hahaa. This is my dear LOVE Brian.
I was editing a wedding and came across this photo in the bunch. Brian and I both participated in our lovely friend’s wedding. Brian sang with a band and I did photography. HE cracks me up. Nothing really surprises me when it comes to the fashion world. Nothing except THIS. hahhaha. We are oh so perfect for each other. I am so excited to be your wifey in a few weeks. I am absolutely thrilled and honored that you picked me. love you fun friend.

daley, becoming our good friend and our soon to be wedding photographer was in town and on tour with the daylights. He got brian and I and Jon asher in last night at the marquee. They put on a good show, katy perry was a really good performer but pretty crude. Daley took the stage shirtless and jon asher was a great merch salesman. It was good to be with fun great people.
