This is our wedding album. Brian and I are a little more casual than some others… so we opted for a book printed by blurb.com. I really LOVE the print and how the cover and binding turned out. I really couldn’t be happier… it is exactly what i was hoping for. I designed the albums all by myself by downloading some of the specs and sizes off of the blurb site. Not all the pages are shown here… just some of them. Brian and I also bought this same album for his parents and my parents for christmas. THEY LOVED IT!! Sorry this post and photographs are visually too busy and I am showing WAY to many.. but i thought they were a little fun. I always love your thoughts and comments.
THESE FIRST 8 PHOTOS WERE TAKEN BY OUR BRILLIANT MAIN PHOTOGRAPHER: DALEY HAKE
Our wedding was the most amazing day of our lives. We NEVER thought it would have been as glorious as it was. It was truly a dream wedding without the price tag. Our friends and family came around us with so much love and support. It was amazing. We have the greatest friends and family. This was the best wedding ever. haha. Brian and i seriously cried the whole morning after because we were so thankful and unworthy of love like this. I hope you enjoy this little snapshot of our special day. We would love comments from everyone on this post… and especially from those that were there. Read the full story
Here is the second half of the photos. The greenroom. While Brian did the interviews and conversations I took a photos of what was going on backstage in the greenroom for Catalyst West. Some really cool conversations, funny videos, and warm people. Check it out. It will make you feel like you where there. I tried to name and link people so you wernt in the dark. Watch the videos and click on their links if you like. I hope you can enjoy this… it’s pretty different than the normal stuff I do. But really refreshing. Read the full story
About a week or so before our wedding Brian and I and the main guys on the worship arts team drove over to Southern California for Catalyst West!! what what! Brian was asked to host the catalystgreenroom.com where he would be doing on the spot interviews and backstage photos in the greenroom with the key speakers and music artists. I was originally just going to the conference.. just to go.. but a few days before I was hired to take some photos of the “before party” hosted by the one and only Carlos Whitaker. It was an amazing night. There was a BBQ, snowcones, graffiti artists, and Toms Shoes was there doing art on shoes. It was awesome. I wanted to jump right in and start painting with them. hahaha. hire me hire me haha. jk.
Also the founder of Toms shoes made and appearance. He spoke a little bit about what the ministry is doing through selling shoes. WOW! some crazy stuff. If you live in a hole and you have never heard of Toms shoes you need to check it out. TOMS Shoes was founded on a simple premise: For every pair you purchase, TOMS will give a pair of shoes to a child in need. One for One. Using the purchasing power of individuals to benefit the greater good is what we’re all about.
It was a really fun day.. filled with alot of different types of people. it was crazy actually connecting with people that i know online. I met a lot of poeple that follow my blog and i follow theres etc. The internet is SOOO weird. haha. But it’s soo awesome too. Because we were all strangers… but NOT because we all knew each other. haha. This shoot was differnt than the normal types of shoots that I do. I feel that I am best at portraiture and in situtations that i can tweak and change and control. haha. But photographing events is a totally different game. I think i did okay. any thoughts? suggestions? advice? comments? Read the full story
YAY!!! I am soo honored….. Daley Hake asked me to come out with him and shoot the show tonight in Glendale AZ for Chris Tomlin. He is on tour with tomilin and the gang.  I am so honored and stoked that Daley invited me out to help out with tonight. Unfortunately I will not be able to post them, but it will be fun none the less. Thanks Daley. THIS IS ONE OF THE PHOTOS DALEY TOOK LAST NIGHT AT THE SHOW.Â
i know.. there are a few of you that have been waiting to see these. I have been crazy busy working on editing wedding photos, senior photos, updating my website, bringing this blog up to speed, and then WEDDING PLANNING. hahhaa. oh my. This is what I have come up with. They wanted a rich ornate feel. Classy, professional, artsy, modern. I think i have captured that, although I always love your feed back. The colors are just example colors. I will work with them to decide what is best for them. A lot of people get confused with the patterns displayed. Those are extra pieces that bring the look together that can be used on the printed materials. Your thoughts? A question for the boys in the house… IS IT TO FEM??
daley, becoming our good friend and our soon to be wedding photographer was in town and on tour with the daylights. He got brian and I and Jon asher in last night at the marquee. They put on a good show, katy perry was a really good performer but pretty crude. Daley took the stage shirtless and jon asher was a great merch salesman. It was good to be with fun great people.
