I just got Phil Wickham’s new record the other night and it is AMAZING! WOW! I had the privilege of designing his new merch COMPS (t-shirts and tote bags) for his new album called Heaven and Earth. This particular music scene calls for designs that are pretty basic, nothing to risky. Although I was asked to aim towards the ladies, some of the designs can be unisex, which is GREAT and more versatile… especially for touring/traveling.

During this design process I wanted to stay within the same color schemes/style as the album to create the feel of a whole brand package for the artist. These particular t-shirt designs will be easy to print and reasonably priced with only a few colors.

Jeremy Greene and I have been talking for sometime now. The conversation to rebrand his company SPEKTICAL started back before the wedding.. before the wedding craze. haha. I was really excited to get the chance to work with him and his Rad self. Jeremy has a photography and video post production business. he takes some pretty awesome photographs. I decided to share this logo making process.. because it was an interesting one. Starting from the spelling of his business name, the unique letter shapes, the meaning behind the name, the nature of his business, and unexpected element of the final product accidently looking like another well known logo. Everytime i post something like this i hesitate. How much info do you share with people? Is this interesting enough to share? Is this letting the internet people too close? I dont know. I find that honesty and business are interesting. Even if it’s risky or not, I would love to share this process with you. I hope you can appreciate it for what it is. Logo making is an art, an art that can be refined, and never finished. OH the work of an artist. haha. YEEAAA… ahha. So I want to start with giving you a little background of Jeremy and his Biz.

I love this girl’s style. So unique. Diggin the dreads too. HI TODAY!! im working hard on my new website. WOWZERS!! The look is not going to be to much different than my existing website. Im gonna keep the layout similar. But its going to be WAY more functional and share more information. AS always i do these inspiration posts of images that I find on the internet. I love seeing and researching the fresh new trends, colors, patterns, techniques. These are absolutley beautiful Images, and some look really nice together as well. The two images ABOVE are amazing. I am pretty sure they are made with a 3d program by a guy named Barton Damer. The second one is titled “Jesus Paid it All”. It is soo crazy good. Look at the detail and the hidden images. This Image is LOADED with goodness.
