I have known Jessica for years… we went to high school together and saw each other around campus! I am so excited that she is getting married in October to her love Logan. And from what I can tell they are the cutest couple ever. I am so stoked for them and I was REALLY excited to see her name in my inbox requesting a design for invitations. WOOHOO!! As you all know… I love design and creating. I dream about it, breath it,and I am really thankful to get to do this for a living… PLUS it makes it 100x better when I get to create designs for my family or friends. It has a really special feeling and excitement to it. I don’t know I can’t describe it.

Jessica sent me some inspiration for her rustic romantic themed wedding taking place in California. Her colors are brown, and cream, with bright pinks, and oranges for accents. I love that color scheme and Im excited to see her dream wedding take shape. She designed her own save the dates… HOW CUTE ARE THOSE!?!? Amazing.

I am soo excited about this project. Jason ans Taylor served alongside Brian and i when we were in africa. They are GREAT people with big artsy hearts. I fell in love with this couple on our trip and was so excited when asked to design their wedding invitations. They are getting married in an ART MUSEUM!! It truly sounds amazing. They will have some of their personal photography work displayed for their guests to see. I LOVE this idea, and I cant wait to see how it all turns out. I have been emailing with Jocey from the www.weddingchicks.com the past few days about another project. I have to say that those girls over there have got it going on. Sheesh. SOOOO FUN! I love them. I was so honored when i heard she wanted to feature these little pretties on their site. When i got married back in May, their site was a huge source of inspiration and help. I am really honored to now have some of my designs featured with them. I am so excited for my sister and Troy and I cant wait to see their ideas come to life… I Cant wait. Stop over and say hi to Jocey for me.

WOOHOOO! My sister is getting married. As the details are getting nailed down it has been fun to see the visuals of all the hard work. The invitation designs are a fun milestone that reminds us that the date and plans are really coming together. They are getting married at Stawberry Farms in California. The wedding is outside and the reception is in a little red barn. HOW CUTE!! Their colors are a teal light blue, and a vintage faded red. The invites i designed for my friend marina’s wedding were featured on oncewed.com last week. I thought it was cool… i have ran across her site a few times and really liked the items that she posts. She blogs about affordable wedding ideas, anything cute and crafty and alot of other things…. like DRESSES!! well.. when I was in california my girl Marina was telling me about this wedding site that she LOVES to look at and get great ideas from. She said it was oncewed.com. and i said “oh, i think my designs were featured on that site… ACTUALLY THE DESIGNS I DID FOR YOU WERE FEATURED ON THAT SITE”. She was sooo stoked to see that the wedding website she admired most… admired HER wedding invites. I just thought that was a cute story and wanted to share it with you. haha. I told her… “well… i think you must be hitting the mark if oncewed was the look you were going for”. haha. I can’t wait to be in her wedding the day after I get back from Africa. These are more wedding invite designs that i just finished. Marina is my good friend since childhood. You may recognize her from the mini photoshoot we had when she came out to visit me. Marina’s colors are obviously green and yellow. haha. She loves the anthropologie style and may incorporate that feel into her wedding decor. I tried to go for that look and feel. I can”t wait to be in Marina’s wedding in August. It will be a blast. Please leave your thoughts and let me know what you think. Is this something I should continue to do as a service to my clients? So.. This afternoon feathers were flying, paper was cutting, turned into craft assembly line for our wedding invitations. haha. When I was designing them and invisioning them I made each one a little more special than it deserved. Meaning each one TAKES WAYYY TO LONG TO MAKE. hahha. But it was fun to have dear friends amy and carrie there to help me out. The look of the final package of the invitation looks a little different then the previous posts, but I think it works better. The right solution for the address label took a while. I will be hard at it again tomorrow. Fun fun. This is the fun part of wedding planning.
